Mysterious Dirigible Shot Down Over Capital City

IMPERIAL CITY, CYRODIIL—Imperial mages shot down a Thalmor high-altitude balloon over Lake Rumare last week, further escalating tensions between to two groups. The balloon, which the Dominion said is for meteorological purposes but the Empire insists has been spying, could be seen collapsing and falling from the sky. When asked to elaborate on the situation, the High Chancellor of the Elder Council refused to comment. Several scholars speculate the airship in question could be Dwemer in design.
