Go Blades!

DUNE, ELSWEYR—The revelry, the rivalry, and the madness! The gladiatorial march that occurs each and every First Seed has finally concluded, and a victor has been crowned! For the second consecutive year, the Blades have won the illustrious Champions Chalice.

Hundreds of elated fans filled the streets, chanting, “Dune stands forever. Challenge if you dare, for we are the Blades, and we will defeat any who come to our door...”

After finishing the regular season with an impressive, 51-12 record, the Blades eviscerated the competition and maimed their way into the final against the Dusk Executioners. Both sets of  combatants fought gallantly, but in the end, the Blades emerged victorious.

“Jha'Tahra is pleased! Jha'Tahra is thrilled! Jha'Tahra bathed in the blood of Jha'Tahra’s inferior opponents as they flailed about wildly and pleaded to Jha'Tahra for mercy!” shouted the Blades’ captain, smiling with confidence, his excitement palpable.

Bleeding profusely from the neck and producing nothing more than an intermittent gurgling sound, the Executioners’ captain wasn’t available for comment.

A celebratory parade is set for next weekend.
